“Jamie has been a great asset to my son’s therapy team. He was born at 26 weeks and spent 95 days in the NICU. Once we were connected with Jamie for Occupational Therapy services she quickly assessed where he was for his adjusted age and made short and long term goals for him to meet. Not only has Jamie helped my son develop fine motor skills over the last year and a half, she is also teaching us (the parents) how to utilize her therapy sessions in day to day activities! Small activities most individuals perform daily that he struggled with starting out included turning pages in a book, tolerating messy play with different textures, and mastering grasp and release techniques intentionally. In the last 18 months, my son has learned to stack objects, pick up and throw balls/toys, and is learning pretend play and feeding with toy "food". There is no doubt he would not be where he is today without the help of Mrs. Jamie! Not only does she treat him as a patient you can feel the love from her when she arrives for therapy each week!”
